Benchmarks: Noise
Noise output is more of a mixed bag. In practise, it's when the CPU is running flat-out that noise levels increase the most - the RoG G20CB's internal fans spin-up significantly during the Handbrake video-encoding test, at which point the small-form-factor PC becomes the loudest on show.
However, the internal fans do provide a steady, consistent sound, so while the sound-meter readings don't appear favourable, system noise isn't particularly obtrusive during real-world use. You can hear the machine when gaming, but it's far from being the jet engine we'd feared.
