The days of seeing an AMD processor partnered to an AMD GPU in a high-performance rig appear to be long gone. Intel rules the roost in the CPU performance stakes and the Core i5-6600K is the right choice for Chillblast's Fusion Nano Fury.

A 4.4GHz overclock might be considered relatively modest, but that's to be expected in a form factor as small as this, and users aren't likely to be left wanting in terms of CPU performance. Only a Core i7-6700K would deliver meaningful gains in terms of multi-threaded throughput, and said chip is available via Chillblast's online configurator as an optional £99 upgrade - an interesting proposition given that the retail price difference between the two chips is closer to £150.
