Testing the storage capability of a barebone NUC system is a challenge: what we're really looking at here is the performance of the Crucial M500 SSD that we've added. We can infer that the SATA 6Gbps interface works as intended, and we're in the process of securing an M.2 drive to test the capabilities of the newer, quicker storage medium. Needless to say, the NUC's storage can be blazing fast provided you choose a modern SSD.
