Samsung's 840 Evo appears to be Scan's SSD of choice, and we can see why, it's a very fast drive available at a keen price. Using a 500GB model gives gamers a good amount of room for their content, and if you want to go quicker still, we suspect Scan will provide an option to add another SSD in a RAID configuration.
It's interesting to note that the system integrator installs the Samsung drive with Rapid Mode enabled. The software-powered caching tech sends benchmark results haywire, and was therefore disabled before running CrystalDiskMark.
