MESH use a deeply unsexy chassis for the Fire X1950, giving you a system about a pretty as a punch in the face. In our opinion of course; you might love a black eye. You get a couple of USB ports on the front and one spare 5.25" bay for your own use, the rest of the chassis front occupied by the pair of optical drives (why both aren't writers we can't fathom) and the floppy drive which should really be a combined floppy drive and media reader device. So, butt ugly and not as useful as it should be, then, round the front.

Round the back we get to see that the chassis makes use of a 12cm exhaust fan, which we thoroughly approve of. You can see the two Radeon X1950s installed, as well as the Soundblaster X-Fi right at the bottom.

The left-hand chassis side is removable and both sides provide interior ventilation opportunity via placed holes.

Lastly, keyboard and mouse are Logitech-supplied as we mentioned, with both wireless and rechargeable and the mouse doing so via the combined dock/receiver which connects to a spare USB port. We took a look at the same keyboard, mouse and speakers with the Extreme SLI, so if you want to hear our thoughts on those check out the link. Let's open it up for a peek.
