Power Consumption and Temperature

9 watts when idling? Yep, this is the sort of PC you wouldn't mind leaving turned on 24/7.

Even when the chip is running at full tilt, system-wide power consumption is kept to just 26 watts. There's a good chance your existing machine consumes more than that when idle. These mini PCs are certainly a good long-term strategy for saving on the electricity bill.

Idle temperature, as expected, is comfortably cool. Interesting to note, however, that the Intel NUC runs a fraction cooler.

Maximum temperature is recorded after a Prime95 stress test and the readings are well within the limits. As stated earlier, the Zbox Nano ID69 Plus isn't silent - and you really can hear it during a demanding benchmark such as this - but on the flipside operating temperatures are never a cause for concern.
