The 'bot matches are generally considered to be system limited. We've used them as CPU tests in the past. With the Extreme 2 graphics, however, the bottleneck is firmly passed on to the 3D accelerator.
Quake III is about the only benchmark that seemed playable with on-board video, but that's not much of a confirmation of its games-playing abilities, is it ?.
