Intel's reference cooler sacrifices temperature in favour of low(er) noise. The system can be termed as very quiet when running our Prime95 torture test.

Adding the GPU into the mix doesn't do much to push up the overall noise profile. We believe that anything under 40dB to be quiet; Scan just manages to sneak in under our arbitrary barrier.
