Benchmarks: Temperature

This is our first encounter with Thermalright's HR-02 Macho CPU cooler, but it appears to be doing its job well - idle temperature is right where we'd expect it to be.

But here's where Ivy Bridge loses some of its lustre, as applying maximum load sees the chip get a bit warm. The temperatures are well within the limits, of course, but it's clear to see that Scan had an easier job of cooling the previous-generation i5-2500K.

The GeForce GTX 680, on the other hand, provides top-notch performance and generally keeps under 80ºC while gaming - an impressive stat for NVIDIA's best single-GPU card.
