Everything seems familiar here; the three systems at the top of the chart all utilise a GeForce GTX 680 and all three offer practically-identical GPU performance. As it stands, there's no quicker single-GPU solution available, making this a potent solution for the target gaming crowd.
Doing what it does best, the 3XS Z77 Performance GTX makes light work of some of the most demanding DX11 games - it churns out in excess of 70 frames per second in Aliens vs. Predator at extreme quality settings.
These results won't necessarily make you a better player, but it ain't half satisfying to score over 100 frames per second. Buttery smooth is the right expression.
