Review: Dell Alienware Aurora R4

We know that Intel's Core i7-3930K is a mighty-fine CPU, and Dell's 4.1GHz factory overclock gives it a little extra oomph. It's very, very fast, but, as expected, Scan's 4.5GHz overclock is even better.

CPU performance, however, is highly unlikely to be a bottleneck for the Aurora R4. The CPU is lightning, and when combined with a 256GB SSD capable of read and write speeds of almost 250MB/s, it allows the system to boot quickly and feel instantly responsive.
