Due to the overclocking settings used by Scan in the BIOS, the system manually fixes CPU ratio at 20x. EIST gets disabled by default and thus the idle and load power figures for the Scan system are somewhat higher than they need to be.

HEXUS.PiFast

We don't have comparative results in PiFast for the ChillBlast or PC Specialist systems, however, we do have results for the Scan.

Its score of 24.18 seconds is mightily quick, and if it weren't for the single-threaded nature of this benchmark it would be even more impressive.

wPrime

wPrime - a benchmark popular among the overclocking community - is a new addition to our testing suite. Alas, due to this, we don't have any in-house comparative numbers but readers can check out the forums at BenchTec for similar figures.

We can state that the Scan 3XS X58 Core i7 scores 6.9 seconds and compares extremely well against massively-overclocked Core 2 Extreme setups due to the additional virtual cores.
