The Intel 665p M.2 SSD operates via a PCIe 3.0 NVMe interface, and though the drive isn't the quickest by today's lofty standards, sequential read and write speeds approaching 2,000MB/s can hardly be considered slow. It is a perfectly adequate drive whose 1TB capacity bodes well for large game libraries.
