Benchmarks: Temperature
At first glance, under-load temperatures for the CPU and GPU appear too good to be true for a compact rig. There's a little more to it than first meets the eye as MSI is keeping tabs on frequency in order to maintain the low temps. Our logs reveal that the CPU eventually dipped to 4.3GHz across all cores after prolonged load (down from 4.6GHz), and though the GPU starts off at around 1,935MHz when gaming, it dials down to 1,870MHz in order to keep temperature the right side of 70ºC.
