Benchmarks: Noise
Performance is solid, power consumption is low, temperatures are comfortable and, yep, noise levels are kept in check, too. Given the specification and the dimensions, we were expecting the Trident 3 Arctic to turn into a jet engine when gaming, but that really isn't the case.
The PC is barely audible when idle, and though you can hear the fans when the going gets tough, it's a smooth hum that shouldn't be a distraction when gaming. Trident 3 Arctic isn't as quiet as an Xbox One S, but it is one of the least vocal small-form-factor gaming PCs we've tested in recent years.
