The performance offered by Qnap's original HS-210 was limited compared to alternatives available at the time, but the Intel-powered HS-251+ is far more competitive.
Our File Copy Test, which entails transferring a mixed assortment of files totalling 8.83GB from our client to the server, shows the 2015 model averaging speeds of just over 95MB/s. For comparison's sake, the HS-210 managed 56MB/s a couple of years ago.
