Benchmarks: File Copy and NASPT
The N5810Pro gets off to a solid-enough start with decent performance in most scenarios, however the box does fall short of the numbers delivered by Synology's five-bay DS1515. A surprise, given that the Synology unit costs less and comes equipped with a theoretically less-powerful ARM-based CPU.
Our File Copy Test, which entails transferring a mixed assortment of files totalling 8.83GB from our client to the server, shows the Thecus NAS averaging speeds of up to 95MB/s.
