Writing speed is usually compromised when evaluating mid-capacity drives, but Plextor has no trouble in maintaining near-500MB/s throughput in the second test.

Benchmarks often suit one type of drive better than another. PCMark 8 doesn't run as quickly as expected on the M6 Pro.
