Power consumption, for a four-bay solution, is kept to a reasonable limit in both the idle and load states. One disadvantage to the DX4000, however, is that as far we can tell, there's no option to spin-down hard drives after a period of inactivity - hence the above-average power-draw reading in our extended idle graph.
