Review: Thecus N5550

Benchmarks: Iometer and File Copy

The first results are in and the Thecus N5550 is a consistently quick performer. Using Iometer to carry out small 64KB transfers results in read and write speeds close to 100MB/s. The File Copy Test entails moving a mixed assortment of files totalling 8.83GB from our client onto the NAS, and again the Thecus performs admirably by accepting the transfer at a rate of 89.7MB/s.
