We appreciate PCMark 7's ability to simulate real-world usage scenarios as, for most consumers, it provides an idea of everyday performance and typically divides SSDs into three categories: good, very good and insanely good.

SanDisk's Ultra Plus puts in a good showing for a lower-end drive and, in terms of real-world performance, scores similarly to Samsung's popular 830 Series drive.
