CrystalDiskMark's use of incompressible data can be a stumbling block for drives based on the SF-2281 SandForce processor, but Samsung has no such problems with the MDX-based 840 PRO.
Indeed, the 512GB drive sets a new standard for 2.5in performance in this benchmark.
