The Marvell processor has no trouble dealing with incompressible data at speed, and the Crucial cache is consequently able to out-pace the OCZ and Corsair solutions in CrystalDiskMark's 4K QD32 test. Read performance, thus far, has been excellent.
And, though the drive's sequential write performance isn't particularly exciting, its ability to handle a large number of small transfers makes it a noticeable upgrade from a hard-disk only configuration.
