Benchmarks: NAS Performance Toolkit and File Copy
Iometer's results are backed up by Intel's NAS Performance Test. Simulating real-world usage scenarios it shows, quite clearly, that the QNAP TS-469 Pro is the fastest four-bay NAS to pass through our labs.
The simple File Copy Test provides further confirmation. When copying over a collection of files totalling 8.83GB, the TS-469 Pro is able to complete the task in roughly one-and-a-half minutes. That's 30 per cent quicker than the second-place Thecus N4200 and a massive 60 per cent quicker than the older TS-439 Pro.
