Benchmark: ATTO
We start by taking a look at maximum sequential throughput in the ATTO Disk Benchmark and this test gets close to OCZ's on-paper specification.
The Vertex 4 can't quite live up to the various SandForce-powered competitors in terms of raw sequential performance, but read speeds of 525MB/s are not to be scoffed at. As expected, maximum write speeds are better on the 512GB model - it has four die in each NAND package and a 1GB cache, compared to two-die-per-package and a 512MB cache in the 256GB drive.
