Iometer all but confirms the speed of Toshiba's 32nm NAND flash memory. Paired with the SandForce controller, it allows the 120GB Wildfire to eat up a bombardment of 4KB read and writes at a rate of over 63,000 input/output operations per second (IOPs).
That's the quickest we've ever seen from a 2.5in SSD, and it shows the drive to be a mighty strong all-rounder.
