Benchmark: Crystal Disk Mark
Crystal Disk Mark's use of incompressible data has been known to show SandForce drives in a poor light, but Patriot's Wildfire is able to maintain very respectable numbers.
There's a sizeable gap between the £170 Corsair Force Series 3 and the £240 Patriot Wildfire - and while both drives make use of the same controller and offer the same 120GB capacity, it's the use of asynchronous NAND and Toggle Mode NAND that sets them apart in the overall performance stakes.
