We beat the drives up by running the full HD Tach read/write test as the first benchmark. The application forces the drives to use any available performance-restoring features - TRIM, BCG - to bring the SSDs back up the near-new specification.




HD Tach confirms the excellent sequential-read speed of the drive, actually beating out the 256GB model, and shows how the lack of NAND dies affects write performance.
