Installation and Testing
Installation: -
The installation of the card was simple. Get it, plug it in, and install the
drivers. I originally wanted to install it in a 2K box which had my old SCSI
card in it, so here is the fix.
1. Put in the 29160 leaving the Old card present.
2. Install Drivers
3. Switch over cables
4. Boot and in to the bios, change all of the settings.
5. Boot Windows, check all works.
6. Remove the old SCSI host card and rebuild system
7. Done ;)
Testing: -
We tested the card under Win2K Fat32 Rig, with Si-Soft Sandra, using the Quantum
Atlas II Drive.
