Benchmarks: Overclocking
In pushing the reviewed memory that little bit further, we've decided to keep things simple by increasing DRAM voltage to 1.4V, keeping timings intact at 14-14-14-34-2T and raising frequency in small increments. G.Skill's 32GB Trident Z kit managed 3,400MHz without any trouble but wouldn't accept 3,466MHz without loosening timings at this particular voltage.
Bandwidth naturally improves in the synthetic tests, yet there's nothing in it with regards to 3DMark performance, and you need a particular scenario to show any meaningful benefit of running at higher speed.
