Again, decent enough performance when compared to memory that a) runs with tighter latencies and b) is smaller in size. S939, it seems, is partial to high-capacity memory. A breakdown of the OCZ's scores can be found right over here. A 21k score with 3-3-3-8 latencies is impressive, so is the FX-53 S939 CPU that's the muscle behind the scenes.
Our custom UT2003 bot test also shows little difference between compared memory.
As does Quake III. We can surmise that OCZ's 2GB pack performs well enough in benchmarks, so the next avenue of interest is to see whether 2GB of memory makes a differences in other, oft-neglected areas.
