ScienceMark 2.0, Pifast
The benchmarks chosen to evaluate OCZ's memory are sensitive to changes in bandwidth and latency. Let's first see how it stacks up in ScienceMark 2.0's memory analysis.Bandwidth and latency, according to ScienceMark 2.0, is literally identical to that of Corsair's Xpert XL RAM. There's no real reason why it shouldn't be. Both sets use 16 256MBit chips and both were set to run with identical timings, as confirmed by A64 Tweaker.
Pifast takes both latency and bandwidth into account. Low-latency RAM is about 2 seconds quicker than generic RAM, it seems.
