CPU Tests
Do remember all that's changing between tests is the memory equipped in the Ryzen system. There are small but repeatable gains in all benchmarks. We know that VRMark is usually sensitive to changes in memory frequency and latency. The four per cent gain here is worth about as much as stepping up to the next model up for the CPU, so given we're testing with the best-in-breed Ryzen 7 1800X, every uplift is welcome.
An Intel Z270/Core i7-7700K platform with similar memory will score higher in some tests but lower in others.
