The 135mm fan remains off until, according to our measurements, a 285W load is reached. Even running at full chat doesn't cause it to make a din - the relatively high efficiency and decent fan profile combine to offer an unobtrusive solution.
No alarm bells on the temperature front, either. All in all, a good showing for an 80 PLUS Gold PSU.
