Benchmarks: Power and Noise

A modern Intel-based NAS can keep power consumption to as little as 20 watts under full load, and the at-the-wall reading for the TS-251A drops to just 10 watts when the drives enter standby. Efficiency is a plus point, and a noise output of 37.4dB suggests that the Qnap chassis is doing a reasonable job of soaking-up vibration.
