Migrating from 4TB WD Red to 8TB Seagate IronWolf hard disks seems to have resulted in higher power consumption. Do bear in mind the TS-251B-2G was also outfitted with the QWA-AC2600 wireless adapter during testing, resulting in a few extra watts being drawn from the wall, as well as extra noise. The small fan on the wireless adapter can be heard most of the time and becomes quite noticeable when WiFi activity ramps up.
