Uniformity and Power Consumption
Colour uniformity
Our review unit exhibits a slight colour hotspot toward the top-middle. We wouldn't know it without specific test equipment, mind, and it's not something the average user is likely to notice during regular use.
Luminance uniformity
Luminance uniformity could be better, too, and now that we know it's there, we do see a slight shift in contrast, particularly toward the monitor's right side. Do be aware that uniformity can vary from one sample to the next, so your own experience may differ.
Low power consumption can be a key selling point for any workplace monitor, be it at home or at the office, and the HP E27q G4 does exceptionally well to keep power draw down to 15W at maximum brightness.
