Brightness, Blacks and Contrast

Our test equipment reckons the monitor exceeds its 250 cd/m² brightness by 16 per cent. Even so, it's not a bright screen. After formal testing, we ran it at 100 per cent brightness the whole time, which feels like 50 per cent on dearer, brighter screens.

Black levels and contrast are both acceptable for a gaming-focussed 27in panel.
