Brightness and Contrast

Brightness is a strong point, and black levels and contrast are decent, too. We have the makings of a solid all-rounder, though when viewed in a dark environment, our review sample does show signs of uneven backlighting. This unwanted trait is barely noticeable during regular use, mind, and the AOC isn't the first and certainly won't be the last monitor to suffer from bleed.
