Uniformity and Power Consumption

Colour uniformity

Uniformity can often trip up larger displays and the Philips Brilliance 328P6VJEB isn't immune. The top half of the panel proved reasonably even, but we do see more variance at the bottom, particularly toward the right corner.

Luminance uniformity

Luminance uniformity isn't perfect, either. We like to see a variance of below 15 per cent across the panel, but the Philips falls short of that mark on the left-hand side. The difference is barely noticeable during general use, though we did identify a small amount of backlight bleed in the bottom corners, which can be seen during dark scenes.

There are no nasty surprises in the power consumption department, with Philips delivering the lowest readings we've seen from a panel measuring over 30 inches in size.
