Graphical Tests

Finally, we run a few graphics intensive tests past this board, equipped with a GeForce 6800GT. Although the difference in interface shouldn't make any difference in these benchmarks, bear in mind that the numbers shown here are comparing a PCI Express GPU on the KN1 Extreme and EQS board, while the EPoX offering still uses the AGP variant of the 6800GT.

The KN1 Extreme brings up the rear in 3DMark2001, a matter of a few hundred points behind the other two boards.

In this very much GPU-limited benchmark, the two PCI Express motherboards are neck and neck, while the AGP 8x 6800GT equipped EPoX board takes a slender lead.

Not much more than a single frame per second separates the three motherboards here - Again, it's more or less neck and neck for the two PCI Express sporting boards.
