Graphical Tests

Finally, we run a few graphics intensive tests past this board, equipped with a GeForce 6800GT. Although the difference in interface shouldn't make any difference in these benchmarks, bear in mind that the numbers shown here are comparing a PCI Express and AGP 8x 6800GT on the EQS and EPoX board respectively.

3DMark 2001SE

Again, the tiniest of leads goes to the EQS part, but both systems are basically neck-and-neck here.

In the almost entirely GPU-limited 3DMark03, again the margin between the two systems is small, although interestingly the AGP 8x GeForce 6800GT manages to come out on top.

Painkiller

Finally, Painkiller again shows us little difference between the two boards, although again the AGP-equipped EPoX board fares every so slightly better to the tune of around a single frame per second.
