Memory tests and HEXUS Pifast

In our SiSoft synthetic memory test, the ASUS M2A-VM HDMI has a noticeable advantage in memory bandwidth, despite the slower memory timings. Clearly ASUS's engineers have done a good job of optimising in this area.

But, this theoretical advantage doesn't turn into real performance in our Pifast test, the ASUS M2A-VM HDMI lagging the Sapphire by a whisker. The Sapphire and the ASUS motherboard based on nForce 430 score within 0.1% of each other but all three are very close.
