Benchmarks: Overclocking
Forgive us for not going to town with massive amounts of voltage, but the Core i7-6950X isn't cheap, and we daren't upset it, at least not yet.
Keeping things simple, we allowed each platform up to 1.3V for the CPU and then gradually raised the multiplier. Our Core i7-6700K proved a champ in keeping stable at 4.7GHz, while the i7-6950X topped out at 4.3GHz irrespective of motherboard.
