Summary

Storage results prove unspectacular, with all five chipsets and boards performing near identically. The only real exception being the Foxconn's poor performance in the FireWire tests, presumably due to a poor choice of FireWire controller.

The fact that performance remains stagnant across all platforms suggests that they could be performing very near to the ultimate potential of the Seagate hard drive used for testing.
