BIOS musings

BIOS

As has been a common theme throughout this review, the M2N32-SLI Premium Vista Edition offers an identical range of BIOS settings to that of the Deluxe.

This is no bad thing as the Deluxe was already one of the finest boards in it class with respect to BIOS manipulation.

Summary

In fact the M2N32-SLI Premium Vista offers such a bewildering array of esoteric settings that it seems likely most users will forever leave the majority on Auto, but it's always nice to have the option. Just don't blame us if you mix up your Twrrd and Twrwr settings and cause an international incident.

For the less adventurous there are a range of simpler overclocking options, with support for EPP-compatible memory and basic automatic +10% CPU overclocking by the BIOS.

Speaking of overclocking, the board was able to be cranked up to a stable maximum of 340MHz HTT in testing, exactly the same as the regular Deluxe version.
