Presentation, Bundle and Manual
ECS use the same overall style of presentation that they used with PF4, with the KV2, just themed slightly differently. The rear of the box holds a marketing-led product feature list that gives you informed hints at just what the KV2 is capable of.
Bundle
As with the PF4, ECS have given the KV2 an impressive bundle. You get an Ethernet patch cable, a pair of SATA data cables, the USB2.0 and FireWire400 ports on their I/O plate, along with a 3.5" drive bay plate to convert them to front mounted ports. You also get black, rounded ATA and floppy ribbons, a two-head SATA power splitter, backup BIOS chip (what a brilliant inclusion) and finally, the ATX I/O shield.
It's a great bundle for such a low cost mainboard.
Manual
The manual is skinny, but packed full of the right information you need to get the board up and running. I'd like to see a quick start guide to go along with it, for the most basic setup information, but it's not a glaring omission. The CD comes with all the drivers you'll need to use the KV2 with modern Windows operating systems. ECS don't push the boat out in this part of the KV2 package, but neither do they deliver something that's substandard.
