WAV, Realstorm, KribiBench, XviD
There's not too much disparity in the results from WAV crunching. Not surprising as all three setups run CPUs at ~2.2GHz.
Again, VIA's revised chipset benchmarks in the vicinity of a decent non-Pro board. The enhancement, limited as they are, won't readily show up in stock benchmarks.
Getting the idea now?.
Media encoding, run in conjunction with an XviD CODEC, shows a healthy speed increase when benchmarked on a S940 setup. The reference board continues to keep parity with the incumbent S940 chipset from VIA.
