3DMark 2001SE first, the fan's favourite.
Our small but noticable performance difference shows up again. KT880 ultimately, in reference board form, just isn't as fast as nForce2 Ultra 400.
AN7 wins again, the KT880 board trails.
There's that Q3-style difference again. Both games use OpenGL to render, maybe that's a commonality in the poorer performance of the KT880? It seems so, although I'm wary of stating that as fact until retail examples show up.
It takes a small win in X2, so it's not all one-sided in terms of performance. KT880 can be fast under certain situations, just not in the general case.
