Benchmarks II

Box shot

You'll be wholly unsurprised to learn that the ABIT AI7 matches its brethren in this test. 2GHz isn't quite enough here, clearly.

Intel CPUs do well at KribiBench, too. The benchmark features models with 16.7 billion polygons. This test is the rather easier JetShadow model with the realistic setting.

If KribiBench is Intel's benchmark, Realstorm Raytracing is AMD's. It's also affected by differences in memory bandwidth and latency, and that explains why the AI7 falls into last place, if only marginally. Nothing erroneous to report from the AI7 with respect to disk transfer tests. HDTach provided a smooth graph with a healthy burst speed, be it on SATA or PATA.
